Climate and Environment
The research area focuses on the investigation of the effects of changes in the climate in Switzerland on health and the interconnections between the heat wave of 2003 and the mortality of the Swiss population. Furthermore, possible health effects of future climate scenarios are estimated in collaboration with the Federal Advisory Body on Climate Change (OcCC).
